Love Island's Ekin-Su admits she ‘doesn’t have any friends left’ after ITV fame

Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu admitted that she “doesn’t have any friends left” after she left the villa with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti last year.

The Turkish actress and her Italian hunk were crowned the winners of the ITV2 dating show last year after beating finalists Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page.

On Monday (January 23), the Dancing on Ice contestant, 28, joined former Islander Joe Garratt as they sat down with Reddit to talk about the drama going down on the show.

She told listeners: “Don’t change who you are, don’t get caught up in this ego where you think you’re this celebrity so you should act a certain way and belittle people – you shouldn’t.

“We’re all equal, I feel like even the people who clean the toilet, you should respect that person because we’re all the same. Stay humble.”

It was at this point that Ekin-Su confessed that she “lost so many friends” after winning the show after a number of them sold stories about her to newspapers.

Ekin revealed: “I lost so many friends coming out, I don’t have any friends left because they sold stories of me.”

Shocked by her revelation, Joe said: “Oh that’s so sad, well they weren’t friends then. That’s jealousy man, that’s sad.”

But the former soap star was quick to see the brighter side of things as she advised fans: “But then you make new friends who understand you.”
