Rylan Clark has shared a huge update on the condition of his mum’s health after she took a bad fall whilst on holiday.
He and mum Linda were on holiday on the Spanish coast when she suffered the horrific fall. She was rushed to hospital where she was given emergency treatment, before being privately flown back to the UK to receive extra home comforts.
Former X Factor contestant Rylan, 35, has been right by his mum’s side, giving loyal fans updates on how his Celebrity Gogglebox co-star is doing. He recently shared a major progress report for Linda that left fans beaming with joy.

Uploading a pic of his mum to his Instagram, Rylan shared that Linda is now getting out and about again, as she gets back to normal life. She looked radiant as she sat inside Rylan’s conservatory with a huge smile across her face.
Captioning the pic, Rylan joked: “For the first time in two months, she’s managed to come round. Best birthday present! Don’t make a habit of it tho dorrrlliiinnn.”
Fans and friends of the former Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host were gushing over the picture and offering their congratulations to the pair. Good friend and ex- Countdown star Carol Vorderman paid tribute to their special relationship.
Taking to the comments section, she wrote: “Just absolutely wonderful Rylan. Just wonderful. My mum lived with us for 38 years… she was my every day… so the joy you two give us all is extraordinary and special. Sending huge love and peeled grapes.”
Another fan wrote: “That’s great news. Great to see Linda out and about, and lovely to have your mummy there on your birthday!” Whilst a third user joked in the comments: “You wanna watch that Linda, she’ll be on the rob!”
Linda was showered in words of affection, with hundreds of fans paying tribute to her. Fans gushed over the 71-year-old, branding her “lovely”, “amazing” and “beautiful”.
The new snap comes as Rylan is tipped to make a return to This Morning after permanent presenter Holly Willoughby opted to leave the show. Rylan is set to return to the iconic blue sofa together with fellow Big Brother legend Josie Gibson.
The pair will be returning to host the show for the school term period, whilst regular weekday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary take a break from presenting. Josie has been a part of the This Morning family for years, recently becoming a relief presenter for the ITV show.
