Dermot and Alison love to brighten up everybody’s Friday morning and are often seen doing a jig together between advert breaks.

Dermot was quick to notice he’d lost the ear-piece when he cried out, “Oh no!” and stared down at the floor.

Alison asked: “What’s wrong? What have you done now?”

Dermot replied: “Oh no, my earpiece has fallen out. This always happens when I get stuck in.”

Alison said: “Oh who cares? Who needs an ear piece?”

But Dermot was forced to admit: “Well, actually I do.”

The former X Factor host was then tasked with searching the floor of the studio in order to find the ear-piece.

And Dermot confessed that he was getting a telling off by producers when he added: “Oh yeah, they’re shouting ‘you will pick up that earpiece and put it back on’.”

Later on, there was more music in store as Dermot and Alison were treated to a live rendition of Queen’s It’s A Kind of Magic by Loose Women star Brenda Edwards.
