Former adult icon Jenna Jameson has spoken out for the first time since her wife announced their split this week.
The businesswoman, 50, had only married Jessi Lawless on May 23 last year, but after 11 months the pair have called it a day. At the time of marrying her then-girlfriend, the ex racy star said she “found her person”.
She “run and gunned it” down the aisle alongside her TikTok star partner during an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. And in true Vegas style, the couple were married by a Johnny Cash impersonator and Jenna marched down the aisle to Ring of Fire.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
But on Tuesday, Lawless made an announcement on TikTok and Instagram, saying they were going their separate ways.
The 41-year-old said: “This is a very difficult video for me to make. But here it goes. There are a lot of rumours going around that Jenna and I are getting a divorce and I am making this video to confirm that.
“I told her in the beginning of our relationship that I was drawing a hard line and that drinking had led to so many problems in her life, that I would not tolerate it at all under any circumstances.
“And this is the first time that she went to an event without me since we’ve been married. This is the first time she’s been away from me.
“I’ve been keeping her on the straight and narrow and she goes to Chicago and she starts drinking.”
Lawless said she “confronted” her partner regarding her supposed drinking problem. She then mentioned that she eventually “admitted it” but showed no regret.
“She told me point blank, ‘I’m not sorry. I don’t feel sorry’,” Lawless added.
“She just wanted to turn it around and blame me. I don’t know how it’s my fault but, maybe I shouldn’t have had such high expectations. But that’s it, I filed for an annulment and it shouldn’t take long to finalise.
“I’m sure you’ll see this Jenna. I love you with all of my heart and I really hope the best for you.”
Jameson has since spoken up about the issues mentioned in her wife’s video.
She started off by expressing her wish that anyone going through addiction or striving to maintain sobriety can find a compassionate and caring support network.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jameson said: “Research has shown that empathy and understanding are better responses to addiction than judgement, shaming, and moralising.
“Expressing your unconditional love and support may be one of the kindest things you can do. Let them know that you are there for them—relapse or not, ten days sober or 200.
“Unfortunately, in the past, due to cultural attitudes surrounding addiction, tactics such as shaming, humiliating, shouting and ‘attack therapy’ were commonplace.
“Currently, rehab centres recognise that this approach would constitute malpractice and would have no place in the delicate process of treatment.
“It is much more likely that clients will experience greater success when empathy is placed at the forefront of the client care process.”
