Levi Roots has voiced his frustration at his fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestants for their toying behaviours and causing distress amongst each other.
The 65-year old entrepreneur famous for selling Reggae Reggae Sauce, was one of five celebrities up for a tense eviction during Friday night’s live show. Alongside Levi facing possible eviction were Louis Walsh, Fern Britton, David Potts and Ekin-Su Culculoglu.
On Thursday night, viewers experienced intense face-to-face nominations where contestants had to vote against each other. This potent atmosphere has strained friendships within the house and ignited trust issues amongst the famous faces.

A particular source of tension came after Levi nominated 25-year old Coronation Street star Colson Smith – who then returned the favour by nominating Levi – accusing him of being dull.
Despite the turmoil, housemates continued with their daily routines seemingly unfazed by the brutal nomination process which only perturbed Levi further. As shown in Friday’s eviction episode, Levi confided in housemates Louis and Ekin-Su regarding his current emotions, reports the Mirror.
In response to how he was feeling, Levi expressed: “I don’t want to play any more. I only play with my son. I don’t play with adults.” Reacting to the mention of playing with his son, Louis comfortingly told Levi: “You will next week when you give him a big teddy bear.”
Levi went on to add that he really upset about the apparent game-playing in the house. “Everyone’s playing,” he rage..” I don’t wanna play. I’m too old to play. I’m a Rasta man. I don’t do that kind of stuff. And I don’t want to be around people who pretend and play. You play card games, yeah, but you don’t play with human emotions.”
Ekin-Su tried to make him feel better, meanwhile, by responding: “This is all gonna be over, so just enjoy it, Levi.” But Levi didn’t like seeing others upset, as he added: “I don’t want to see people hurt and people crying and that kind of stuff.”
Louis didn’t want any part of the fakeness either, saying, “No, no. I don’t wanna play. That’s why I’m just me. Do you think the public will see through the real people and the fake people? ” Levi thought they would, saying: “I know they will. Because one minute you’re arguing with each other, you’re ‘babe, babe, babe.’ And the next minute you’re..”
But Louis cut in, hitting out: “I hate all this hugging. I’m fed up of hugging, seriously, cos it’s fake. I don’t like it.”
Celebrity Big Brother continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1.
