Coronation Street fans can expect plenty of drama this week.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) speech and ability to eat solid food have deteriorated and his therapist suggests that it might be time to use a feeding tube.
Paul and Bernie Winter (JAne Hazlegrove) break the news that he can no longer eat solid food for fear of choking but Paul assures Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) if they liquidise his food, he’ll be fine.

Meanwhile Billy, Paul and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) bid an emotional farewell to Summer as she begins her new adventure in Boston. Also, barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Pregner) is left petrified when she finds masked burglars raiding the till at the Rovers.
