Dancing on Ice fans were left drooling as Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi made her debut on the ITV show but her low scores from judges caused fans to complain.
The brand-new series kicked off on Sunday night (January 14) with Holly Willoughby and new presenter Stephen Mulhern at the helm. And just like previous series, a new set of celebs took to the ice to showcase their dance skills.
The second contestant to make their debut was Roxy who is famous for playing Leyla in Emmerdale. Partnered with Sylvain Longchambon, the pair put on a mesmerising performance which kept fans glued to their screens.

Wearing a siren red dress, Roxy looked the part as she skated along to You Don’t Own Me. As she put on a sultry display, fans couldn’t wait to compliment the actress online.
Taking to X formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: “Roxy did well. And she skated on her own a little at the start. She looks stunning!
Another said: “Roxy is so lovely. Love her on Emmerdale.” While a third chimed: “Roxy is stunning isn’t she.”
But when it came to the judges scores fans were left annoyed. Roxy and Sylvain received quite low marks from all four judges despite taking on jaw-dropping lifts and astonishing flexibility.
The ice panel which consists of Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo were back to give their critiques. But they were met with boos from the audience when they all gave Roxy a 5.0.
With an overall score of 20 for her performance, fans headed straight back to X to complain. One viewer said: “I HATE the fact that they don’t teach the female celebrities to skate on their own so they automatically get S**T scores and slagged off by the Facebook mums… Roxy Shahidi SERVED.”

While others compared Roxy’s performance to Greg Rutherford’s routine who scored 24 points for his dance. A viewer said: “Brilliant skate from Roxy and Sylvain what are the judges on how did they get lower than Greg?!” While a third said: I do agree Roxy needs to skate on her own more but I wouldn’t say it was worse than Greg’s skate.”
