Dancing On Ice stars’ sex confessions — ‘two guys in one night’, TV romp and skinny dipping

Dancing On Ice is back on telly screens for its sixteenth series – and it looks to be its best yet.

The show makes its return on Sunday (January 14) with Holly Willoughby back at the helm. Joining her is Stephen Mulhern – who replaced Phillip Schofield.

Olympic gold medallists Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will sit on the panel as head judges once again. The pair will sit alongside Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse and Diversity icon Ashley Banjo.

And the celebs they will be judging include Corrie icon Ryan Thomas, Love Island beauty Amber Davies and boxer Ricky Hatton. S Club star Hannah Spearritt and Olympian Greg Rutherford are taking to the ice too.

Also showing off their best moves on the ice are soap legend Claire Sweeney, reality star Miles Nazaire and Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi. Rounding off the 2024 line-up is EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood, comedian Lou Sanders and ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards

And it turns out some of these celebs aren’t afraid to let slip a rather racy remark. So with the show kicking off its new series, Daily Star is taking a look at the contestant’s past sex confessions.

‘Just wanted a sh*g’

Corrie star Ryan and Lucy Mecklenburgh started dating back in 2017 after meeting on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls. The pair have gone from strength to strength since.

In 2019, they got engaged and a year later welcomed their son Roman. And it turns out it was lust at first sight for Ryan – when he first met the former TOWIE star.

Speaking on his podcast, Mancs On The Mic, with co-hosts and brothers Scott and Adam, Ryan spoke about meeting Lucy for the first time. Ryan recalled: “You have that butterfly feeling in your stomach when you like someone.

“I had it before I had Lucy. Even on the training days I was looking at her and she’d look at me and she was just thinking ‘oh, we’re just working together’. But I was thinking…”

Jumping in, Scott then said: “That’s a credit to Lucy though. She’s so professional in the way that she approaches everything that literally, this was business.”

But Ryan crassly announced: “Yeah. And I just wanted a sh*g!” The brothers could then be heard laughing in the studio.

Skinny dipping

Soap star Claire Sweeney once admitted she went skinny dipping on holiday. But was shocked to find a class full of schoolchildren staring at her.

The embarrassed soap star had been “training” with some friends – who were all wearing swimming costumes – on the Spanish island of Mallorca when the girls decided to take a morning dip. But Claire was the only one of the group without a costume, and after deciding to swim in the nude she emerged blushing to find a “school party” staring at her from the shore.

The mother of one told comedian Alan Carr’s Life’s a Beach podcast: “I’ve been skinny dipping once, and I had a bit of a bad experience… I’d been training with my friends and they decided to have a swim at eight o’clock in the morning. I didn’t have a swimming costume with me because I didn’t realise that was part of the thing that they do.

“So l go in naked with the girls, and I come out onto the beach and there’s a school party on the beach. My clothes are at the back of the beach, and I had to walk out in front of all these schoolboys.

“It was just so wrong… It was like half eight in the morning in Mallorca. I’d probably keep me clothing on now.”

Controversial sex comment

Last year, Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire caused anger amongst his fans after he admitted he would treat a woman he intends to marry with more respect than someone that he had a casual fling with. Speaking on the Playtime Podcast, Miles gave rather candid comments.

He said: “Sexually there’s a lot of things that I wouldn’t do with a girl that isn’t the right one for me.” When asked to elaborate further, he said: “It’s hard to explain but for me when I’ve been more casually with someone it’s more ‘okay whatever’.

“Let’s have some fun, let’s experiment in dirtier ways or more hardcore or whatever it is. I’m not saying I wouldn’t experiment or have those rough or crazy sex thing with her. But there I things that I know that I have done with girls that I would not do with the girl that is the right one for me.”

However, this caused backlash amongst fans once they heard. One listener said: “That’s actually very concerning to hear and I think it actually reflects a lot of male attitudes towards women (not all). The fact you wouldn’t do certain things with “The one” that you would do with ‘The others’ comes across like you don’t respect other women. Would be interesting to know why you make this separation…”

‘Two guys in one night’

Amber Davies shot to fame on ITV2’s sexy and sun-soaked dating show Love Island back in 2017. Amber joined the villa on day one – and became a firm favourite with viewers.

And it didn’t take long for things to take a cheeky turn. On the second night, the Islanders had to play a game of A Lot Of Bottle – where Amber’s x-rated secret was revealed.

In the game she ended up necking on with barber and future boo Kem Cetinay. And the saucy secret that she was linked to, is that she once slept with two different guys in one night.

Amber ended up winning the series that year with Kem. However, the pair split and decided to go their separate ways four months after the show ended.

On-screen bonk

Roxy Shahidi is best known to fans for playing the sultry brunette Leyla Cavanagh in ITV’s Emmerdale. The Manchester-born star first made her appearance in the soap in 2008.

Since then she has been involved in several hard-hitting storylines and comedically fuelled performances in the iconic Yorkshire Dales. The character has also had her fair share of racy on-screen moments.

Roxy sent fans wild when her on-screen counterpart Leyla dressed up in a naughty secretary outfit to welcome boyfriend Pete Barton home. Leyla sent temperatures soaring in a black PVC skirt that showcased her gorgeous figure, while her shirt was tied at the front to showcase her tiny waist.

While in 2022 , she stripped to red silk lingerie to seduce her doctor boyfriend Liam Cavanagh in his office. The brunette bombshell ditched her coat to show off her plunging silk negligee after booking an emergency doctor’s appointment to see her man.

Climbing on top of him, Leyla showed off her hourglass proportions in the flimsy underwear, leaving fans hot under the collar. The pair then began to passionately kiss in the office, turning the heat up on the evening soap, as fans watched at home.

Romping on TV

During her Love Island stint, winners Amber and Kem got plenty of viewers talking thanks to their constant bonks. The pair were at it like rabbits during their time in the villa – romping 12 times in the first few weeks.

And they had so much sex that producers reportedly had to cut some of their x-rated scenes. But not content with their nighttime bonks, they also had sex in broad daylight and were caught by a fellow Islander Nathan Joseph.

Speaking about her on-screen romps in 2018, Amber said: “I thought I was in love. It wasn’t like this one night stand, doing it on TV, you do forget the cameras are there.

“I do think reality TV has affected that because I know if I hadn’t seen it on TV I probably wouldn’t have done it. But because you do watch it on all these different shows, it was kind of like, well, it is accepted.”
