Louis Walsh is standing firm and won’t say sorry for the things he said on ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The 71-year-old music mogul had a pop at his housemates and other celebs during his three weeks stint on the ITV fan-favourite. He didn’t hold back one little bit and ended up upsetting many stars with his harsh comments.
During the programme, he branded Jedward as “vile” and also blasted stars such as Ronan Keating. The X Factor star also made jokes about housemate Fern’s age and looks, saying she was as boring as “wallpaper” and had been around for “100 years”.

John and Edward Grimes, pop duo Jedward, were left fuming with their former manager Louis after he ripped them on TV. After listening to his nasty remarks, the twosome took to social media alongside Gemma Collins to hit back.
Jedward set tongues wagging after they told fans on Twitter / X that they were hoping to spring up on Big Brother to have it out with their old mentor. This came after he bragged about making £5million from them.
During the final on Friday (March 22), Louis came out in fourth place after This Morning star Fern Britton who came in fifth. In their normal fashion host AJ Odudu and Will Best conducted the music manager’s exit interview.
During the discussion, they quizzed him about his time on the show and many of his cheeky comments. They replayed some of the things he’d said about the other stars and housemates to highlight what was now out in the public domain.
Presenter AJ called him “naughty” and made a joke of telling him off, reports the Mirror. She then asked if he wanted to say sorry for anything he said, especially the stuff he said about Fern.
But Louis wouldn’t say sorry, claiming he stands by his words because they are what he thinks. AJ showed him the video and asked: “Is there anyone you’d like to apologise to?”
Standing firm, he yelled back strong: “No, absolutely not. That is just my opinion.” AJ looked like she thought he should say sorry, then she acted like she was giving him a slap on the wrist.
Viewers found it rather amusing that Louis wouldn’t apologise for his remarks. Many took to the online platform X to share their views.
One person wrote: “Louis refusing to apologise hah,” while another laughed: “HAHAHHAHAH.” As a third agreed: “Not Louis not wanting to say sorry,” with a slew of crying laughing emojis to follow.
Louis’ did end up making a number of chums on the show, including David Potts, who ended up winning. Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin ended up in second place and Coronation Street’s Colston Smith swooped up third.
The 2024 winner, David couldn’t believe he’d won. He joked that it was his famous legs that helped him beat his famous co-stars.
