Love Island fans have struggled to tell Jess and Eve Gale apart – but now they’ve figured out a fool-proof hack.
The 24-year-old bombshells, who first rose to fame on Love Island’s winter series in 2020, entered the South African villa this week, leaving viewers and fellow islanders struggling to distinguish between them.
This week, Jess paired up with Callum Jones while Eve chose Casey O’Gorman. Despite Callum and Casey being able to tell the twins apart, other islanders like Anton Danyluk and Chris Taylor admitted they couldn’t.

However, one sharp-eyed fan has spotted a key difference between the twins – and they’ve told others how to figure it out too. While it’s such a small detail, it’s a fool-proof hack to figure out who you’re watching.
The person wrote on X: “How to tell the twins apart… Eve has straight eyebrows, Jess has an arch. You’re welcome!”
Jess and Eve’s bombshell return was welcomed by viewers, but after an intense twist on Thursday night’s episode, it looks like their arrival could be short, but sweet.
After a challenge for the islanders, they spent the evening voting for couples regarding various statements including which relationship is more one-sided and who is more into fame than their partner.
The final question asked who is least compatible which saw four couples receive votes from their fellow islanders – but in an unexpected twist, Maya Jama soon came knocking to explain why they were asked the question.
The four couples who received votes from their co-star were then put at risk and the surviving islanders were forced to determine who they felt should be sent packing and find love outside of the villa. After getting the most votes in the game, Joanna and Chris, Eve and Casey, Jess and Callum, and Arabella and Joe were all put at risk by their co-stars.
Arabella and Joe received the most votes from the islanders, while Callum and Jess received just one.
With the show ending on a cliffhanger, viewers will need to wait until Friday night’s episode to see exactly who will be sent home, with one boy and one girl voted to leave the villa.
