Love Island star admits she’s ‘worst chef in England’ after filming Celebrity MasterChef

Love Island star Chloe Burrows has admitted she filmed Celebrity MasterChef while she was half asleep – and the results were so bad she dubbed herself “the worst chef in England”.

The reality star got to the studio just minutes after jetting in from Australia. She said: “I jumped off the flight and went straight to film the show. My jet-lag had me in a state of delusion. So I was just having fun.

“The judges thought I was a laugh. John Torode is from Australia, so I was chatting to him about that while I let everything I was cooking burn.”

Unsurprisingly, Chloe didn’t impress with her dishes. She joked: “All I learned is that I’m the worst chef in England. I didn’t impress the judges. I don’t think they want to hire me any time soon.”

Chloe competed against ex-EastEnder Danielle Harold, comedian Eshaan Akbar, Line of Duty actress Rochenda Sandall and Gladiator Nitro aka Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.

She said: “I loved filming the show. Being in the kitchen was absolutely amazing. I was doing it with such a lovely group of people. I got on with everyone, particularly Danielle.”

Burrows is competing against reality star and influencer, Charlotte Crosby, model and TV rersonality Christine McGuinness, radio presenter, Craig Doyle, actor Danielle Harold, TV personality Diane Carson, make-up artist and TV Judge Dominic Skinner, TV and Radio presenter Edith Bowman and many others.

See what happens on Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One.
