Molly-Mae Hague slams mum-shamers who criticised concerning parenting decision

Molly-Mae Hague has slammed critics after they took aim yet again, this time over a decision which left them concerned for baby Bambi’s health.

The Love Island star has been batting off mum-shaming criticism ever since she and fiancé Tommy Fury welcomed their little girl. And their holiday to Dubai recently got tongues wagging in full force.

Some where complaining that the family flew first class with a baby. But others were more concerned that Bambi wasn’t wearing suitable protection from the sun.

Molly, 24, has now spoken out about the concerns and said it was never going to happen. In a new YouTube video, she said: “I will add, so many comments I get about, ‘You don’t put a sun hat on Bambi, you don’t put a hat on her, you expose her to the sun.’

“I’d like to know, how any mother is putting a hate on their 11-month-old? I physically don’t understand it.

“Even one with a string underneath or like a tie. She will get so upset when I put one on her, and just cry and cry until I take it off.”

She added: “So yes, this trip we have experienced the hat tantrums.” Molly also spoke of how she felt she’d failed as a mum last year.

The reality star explained that she struggled to go places with Bambi without support from her family. She said: “I was like, ‘How am I going to navigate this?’ I was really doubting myself as a mum.”

Molly even went as far as considering cancelling the trip – but there was one issue. “We couldn’t get a refund,” she said.

She went on: “So the mum that a week ago was really doubting herself, a week ago, that mum is long gone and we are joining you now from our extended trip and we’ve have such a good time we decided to stay away even longer. I’m so proud of us, Tommy and I have been such an incredible team.

“I feel like we’ve smashed this trip in terms of parenting. She’s been an absolute dream.”
