Netflix viewers have been left “sniffling” by one “emotional” series.
Streamers gathered on the Netflix Bangers Facebook group to discuss The Resident, a medical drama series that has left viewers totally hooked. Someone posted: “Not me in here crying watching The Resident,” as they added a teary-eyed emoji and the hashtag “bingeing”.
More fans of the show flocked to share their thoughts and one person wrote: “Season 5 and 6 had me sniffing.” Another Facebook user said: “Such an amazing show. I binge watched it and finished it yesterday. I’m sad it’s all over.”

More fans branded it “so good” and admitted they are “loving it,” while one person demanded: “We need more!” Someone else confessed they were “in tears” and another fan responded: “Me right now for the emergency C section episode in season 2. Ugh,” with a line of crying emojis.
One person warned potential viewers that “it gets sad toward the end” as others gushed that they “love” the series and were left feeling “emotional”. The Resident was originally released on Fox back in 2018 and follows the lives of the staff at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital.
Sadly, the show was cancelled in April 2023 and fans were left devastated over the decision. The series stars Matt Czuchry as Conrad Hawkins, Emily VanCamp as Nicolette Nevin and many more recurring characters appear throughout the seasons.
Elsewhere on the page, fans were in uproar over one “horrible” documentary that left them questioning “why it was made”. What Jennifer Did follows the events that occurred on the night Jennifer Pan ordered three hitmen to kill her parents as they lay sleeping.
Netflix viewers couldn’t believe what happened and rushed to comment on the show, with one person writing: “This is such a horrible story and I don’t understand why they would put this on Netflix, you only have one set of parents and this is how you repay them?! I hope she gets what she deserves!”
Other fans said the story was “gut-wrenching” and “so sad” but praised it as a “great documentary”.
