Netflix fans have said an extremely explicit trailer for the streaming giant’s new series is just “too much”.
Headphones are recommended while watching new TV show Supersex from Netflix. The iconic new show will star Alessandro Borghi as it delves into the real life of Italian adult film star Rocco Siffredi. He’s appeared in more than 1,300 pornos in his lifetime – so the series itself promises plenty of raunch.
Siffredi started his life as a normal guy, going by his original name Rocco Tano and growing up in Ortona, Italy. He went on to become the “most famous porn star in the world”. According to his Wiki page, his specialities are “anal sex, spitting, slapping and choking”.

His foray into the adult film industry began in his early twenties, when he attended various sex clubs in Paris – he made his pornographic debut in 1986. Along with doing some fashion modelling, he’s done everything from acting in porn to directing and producing it.
He lived a wild life, battling sex addiction after he briefly retired from porn in 2004. He would disappear from home for days at a time to romp with men, women and seniors. He returned to the industry in 2009 after getting advice from his wife Rosa Caracciolo, who he married in 1993. She told him: “’You decided to stop; we never asked you. So if you want to go back, just go back.”
By the time 2015 rolled around, however, Rocco was ready to give it up for good, explaining: “Today I can see, my wife, she is the top priority. She deserves to have what she wanted from day one, to be with only me without sharing with other girls.” The pair share two children.
While most of the new show will focus on his real life and rise to fame, some elements will be exaggerated for effect. Jasmine Trinca’s character Lucia is an entirely fictional woman, to represent “a synthesis of most women with whom Rocco had a relationship in his life”.
In the two-minute trailer, Rocco is seen delighting crowds before walking through what looks to be a dungeon, making out with various women in sensual scenes. With orgasmic moans, full-frontal nudity and the erotic eating of an apple, things soon turn into whips and chains on a darkened porn set.
Fans have already been reacting to the raunchy trailer, and took to X – formerly Twitter – to share their thoughts. One penned: “Okay I’m gonna come right out and say it, #Supersex looks like it’s gonna be too much for me. Netflix has gone too far.”

One commenter over on YouTube said: “Lol I did not expect this! Are we gonna get the messed up backstory of his mom?” While someone else said: “I’m not sure I like the direction Netflix is going…”
Someone else couldn’t resist quipping: “This will give Prime some stiff competition!” As a fifth social media user said: “You know, Netflix turned into a hardcore sex channel so gradually I didn’t even notice.”
