Lily Allen explains reason for boob job as she wows in sexy Santa outfit and stockings

Lily Allen made a triumphant return to the top of pop music with her breakup album West End Girl and has now spilled the beans on her boob job after divorcing Stranger Things actor David Harbour

Lily Allen has opened up on the boob job she underwent just weeks after leaving a trauma centre. The 40-year-old pop icon was in the facility dealing with her divorce from Stranger Things star David Harbour at the end of 2024.

A couple of months later in February she went under the knife in order to have a “glow up”, as she previously revealed on her Miss Me? podcast. However, she has now explained she had the procedure done because she had lost so much weight following her divorce.

The Not Fair singer was concerned about the weight returning to “her legs” so she opted for the surgery so she wouldn’t be “bottom heavy”.

She told the Observer: “Because I’ve always been really small up top, I was worried about becoming really bottom-heavy. And so I felt like…

“This is how I talk to myself! I felt like if I got boobs, it would make me feel better about gaining weight. So that was my reasoning.”

While she described the split from Mr Harbour as “f****** excruciatingly painful”, her breakup album West End Girl has been incredibly successful.

To celebrate her return to the top of pop, Lily hosted a seasonal celebration at London’s top adult nightspot in a daring figure-hugging festive minidress.

Lily threw the glamorous Christmas bash on Friday night at London’s notorious nightclub Stringfellows in a sultry Santa outfit. The singer, 40, wowed in a red dress trimmed with fluffy white fur, completing her eye-grabbing look with lace suspenders adorned with bows amid her challenging year.

She completed her stunning outfit with a velvet Santa cape, oozing festive glamour with a sixties hairstyle and classic Chanel handbag.

The singer added a pair of towering white heels with fur embellishments for a striking Christmas ensemble as she posed and mingled with VIPs, cheekily sticking out her tongue to the paparazzi at the star-studded bash. Her guests and celebrity pals included the upcoming pop sensations Olivia Rodrigo and Lola Young.

She also joked around and danced with the London Gay Men’s Chorus, reports The Sun. Singer Ella Raye joined the fun, posing with Lily in a sheer red stocking dress. Bono’s daughter, Jordan Hewson, was snapped lounging on a sofa with the glam hostess.

Stringfellows, the party’s venue, is a longstanding icon of London nightlife, founded by Peter Stringfellow in the 1970s. The club opened in Soho but later moved to Covent Garden, attracting celebrities for evenings of racy fun surrounded by scantily clad dancers.
