Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood has landed the biggest presenting role in her career so far and announced the news during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning
Love Island icon Olivia Attwood has landed a brand new primetime TV role.
The 34-year-old reality television legend has joined one of ITV most popular shows and made the announcement during an appearance on This Morning, alongside hosts Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley.
She told the audience: “I have some news, it’s very exciting. I’ll be joining you guys on the [This Morning] hosting team, on the other side [of the sofa]!”
Olivia then perched herself next to Cat, who said: “We look amazing,” before Olivia asked: “Can we do a show together now?”
She continued: “I’m going to be doing a couple of shows in the summer, I’m very excited to be joining you guys. A huge honour.”
“I’ve grown up watching this show and being part of the daytime team on Loose Women has been the best experience, this just feels like a very natural progression.”
She turned to the autocue to promote her new show The Price of Perfection, an ITV documentary that delves the modern world of plastic surgery, tweakments, weight loss and other treatments.
Olivia recently happily announced that the show has been confirmed to return and bosses were so impressed with audience response, they’ve boosted the episode count from five to six.
An insider said: “Olivia has been solidifying herself as a documentary presenter since her first series, Getting Filthy Rich, brought huge success to ITV.”
“The Price Of Perfection was no different, with Olivia once again happy to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most shocking surgeries.”
“The last series looked into breast augmentation and penis surgeries, and viewers can expect more where that came from for series two. If fans were shocked by what they saw in series one, watch out for what’s to come.”
Olivia has also appeared on Olivia Attwood vs The Trolls, which covers online abuse, and Meets Her Match, her reality show starring husband Bradley, and Bad Boyfriends, where the reality star attempts to reform eight cheeky partners.
Away from the screen, Olivia also stars on KISS’ radio show The Sunday Roast with Pete [Wicks] and Olivia.
