Disgraced ex-film producer Harvey Weinstein is reportedly “very ill”, according to reports in the US.
Medical staff believe the ex-Hollywood mogul contracted the deadly coronavirus while serving time in prison, according to reports.
Harvey, 68, has been battling various illnesses since his incarceration back in March, often appearing at a New York courthouse with walking aids and a hunched back.
American publication TMZ claims that Weinstein was tested for coronavirus on Tuesday morning, with doctors awaiting the results but are “confident” he will test positive.
Should he test positive, Weinstein will be taken directly to the in-house hospital at Wende Correctional Facility in New York.

Once one of Hollywood’s most powerful names, Harvey is at “extreme risk” given his current health, age and previous illnesses.
Weinstein is currently serving time after being convicted of rape in February 2020, as well as facing charges in California.
It’s claimed that he had previously tested positive for coronavirus in March, just days after being sent to the maximum-security prison following a string of cardiac problems.

His current health issues include diabetes, heart problems and high blood pressure.
Weinstein was jailed for 23 years by a New York judge on February 24 after being convicted of sexually assaulting a production assistant at his apartment in 2006 and also for third-degree rape of an aspiring actress in 2013.
His current release date is expected to be September 11, 2039 – with a parole hearing set for the same month.
Over 100 women including famous actresses came forward and accused him of sexual misconduct which stretched back several decades.
He has denied all allegations and claimed that any sex was consensual.
Daily Star Online has approached representatives for Weinstein as well as Wende Correctional Facility.
