Love Island's Aaron Francis is secretly related to famous Made In Chelsea star

Love Island hunk Aaron Francis has a famous relative.

We can reveal he is cousins with Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor.

It means he has some idea what to expect when he becomes a TV star when Love Island kicks off on Monday.

And he plans to call on Hugo for advice if he finds fame difficult.

Aaron told the Daily Star: “Hugo is my cousin. I haven’t seen him in a while. We aren’t that close. But if I ever wanted to ask him for advice, I could. I’m quite close to his dad, too.

“Being related to Hugo and seeing what life is like for him means I can gauge what it is like to be on a TV show.”

Aaron has seen cousin Hugo become one of the best-loved stars on reality TV over the years.

In 2011 posh Hugo was one of the stars who appeared on the first series of Made In Chelsea and make it a ratings hit for E4.

The lad stayed on the show for two further series before quitting in 2012.

Hugo then became a household name when he starred on I’m A Celebrity in the same year.

He has also appeared on shows including Come Dine With Me, Dinner Date and Celebrity Wedding Planner.

Aaron is one of 11 contestants who will move into the Love Island villa this weekend.

But he has very little idea what to expect because it’s all new for him.

He said: “I am friends with a couple of influencers. But I haven’t dated anyone in the public eye before. And I haven’t done any TV before.”

Aaron currently works in modelling and for an events management company.

And he is hoping his stint on reality TV will mean he gets plenty of new career opportunities just like his famous cousin.

He said: “I will continue with modelling. In terms of everything else, it depends how well I do on the show. I’d like to see what opportunities and assess them and see what kind of route I’d like to go down.”

Love Island is back on Monday at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.

Episodes will also be available to stream on BritBox.
