Stacey Solomon's Pickle Cottage hit by Storm Eunice as Joe Swash yells 'it's madness'

Stacey Solomon’s fiancèe Joe Swash was mind blown by the strength of the Storm Eunice as it ripped through his garden at Pickle Cottage.

The former Eastenders star took to Instagram to document his horror as he braved the winds and took to his backyard to clear up the damage caused by the 122mph winds.

Joe commented that the experience had been utter “madness” as he showed his legion of online followers the mess he now had to deal with.

Even though the bad weather continued, Joe took to the great outdoors to try and make sense of the situation.

Speaking to his 1.9 million followers he shared his disbelief over the damage that had been caused to his property.

He exclaimed on camera: “What is happening? This wind is unbelievable! Look!”

Moving the lens to show a huge tree that had smashed to the floor in his garden with branches snapped everywhere, he began to explain the chaos.

He added: “We’ve already lost a tree – what’s going on?! This is madness!”

Joe and Stacey aren’t the only people in the UK today who will now be spending their weekend clearing up the destruction from yesterday’s strong winds.

The MET office issued red weather warnings and advised people to travel if “absolutely necessary”.

Travel came to halt, schools were closed and millions of homes were left without power overnight.

In spite of the torrential weather conditions, Joe’s wife Stacey explained to fans that she had still working hard – with the Loose Women star taking to Instagram with a sweet breastfeeding snap of baby Rose.

She told fans: “Sorry I’ve been so quiet! These filming days are super long and any break I get I’m like this.
