Khloe Kardashian’s baby son’s name ‘revealed’ as she ‘gives nod to late father’

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son’s name has reportedly been revealed nine months after the baby’s birth.

The reality TV star, 38, had a baby boy via surrogate with on-again, off-again beau Tristan Thompson in July last year.

Khloe has remained tight-lipped about what she named the boy, but admitted last month that she had decided to give him a name beginning with T, like her firstborn daughter True.

After much speculation, it has been reported that Khloe named her son Tatum Robert Kardashian Thompson.

According to a source at the Sun, Khloe resisted pressure from her family, especially her mother Kris Jenner, to give the baby his late father Robert Kardashian’s first name as his own.

She instead opted to use Robert as the boy’s second name to honour her lawyer dad, who passed away almost 20 years ago in September 2003, and her younger brother.

“Some in the family were leaning more towards Robert, because it honours her dad and her brother,” said the insider.

“Kris in particular was keen for the baby to be called Robert and was steering Khloe towards that. It took Khloe a little while to settle on the name but ultimately she went with Tatum Robert, which is in keeping with Tristan and True’s names starting with a T.

“Khloe wanted a name that was kind of unusual but not too out there and also keeping with the T theme.”

Khloe shares both baby Tatum and daughter True, five, with LA Lakers basketball player Thompson. He also has two other sons, Theo and Prince.

Khloe had Tatum via surrogate, and despite their subsequent split, Khloe and Thompson decided to have the baby together.

Khloe confirmed on The Jennifer Hudson Show last month that the baby had been named, but she had not yet announced the name publicly.

“He was delivered via surrogate, or the stork I like to say, and at first, I did not know what I was going to name him. I wanted to meet him and feel him out a little bit, and so at first he didn’t have a name,” she explained.

Khloe had already revealed during the premiere of season two of The Kardashians that her son’s name would start with a T.

“I mean, that’s really the only names I’ve been looking at,” she said.
