Former Strictly Come Dancing star Chloe Hewitt has revealed she’s getting married.
The 28-year-old professional dancer, who joined the show in 2016 alongside AJ Pritchard, headed over to Instagram to announce her good news. In the stunning photo, Chloe stood alongside her partner George Betts as they took in the breathtaking beach scenery.
Showcasing her huge ring, the couple were all smiles as George wrapped his arm around his wife-to-be. Captioning the photo, Chloe wrote: “Still taking this all in … WE’RE ENGAGED.”

Seeing her loved-up display, Chloe’s Strictly pals and her fans were quick to congratulate her. Amy Dowden said: “Argh congratulations, so happy for you Chlo.” Katya Jones and Dianne Buswell also sent their best wishes.
One fan also chimed in and wrote: “Oh my gosh!!! Congratulations Chloe, sooo happy for you both.” While another said: “Official Instagram congratulations Chloe and George, the best news.”
Chloe didn’t have a celebrity partner when she first joined Strictly but she still danced in group numbers and appeared on It Takes Two. In 2018, she decided to leave the BBC show and now teaches dance in Wrexham.
When she first joined Strictly, Chloe was the youngest pro dancer. At the time, she said it was a dream come true.
Earlier this year, Chloe reunited with her Strictly friends again for Amy’s Dare To Dance. She shared her experience on social media, with Amy and Graziano Di Prima showing their support with heart emojis.
She wrote: “Dare to Dance what an experience! Thank you to @amy_dowden and of course @richallen84 your dedication to this project was second to none. Wanting to push the boundaries to show that truly anyone can dance you can catch all episodes to season 2 on BBC iPlayer.”
Chloe also tried her luck on Britain’s Got Talent with former Strictly pro dancer AJ in 2014. They made it to the live semi-finals before Attraction won the competition.
She later told The Express: “We had a great time. It was one of the first times doing TV as well so just being able to experience all that was crazy as well.”
