      The ‘Bleeding Love’ hitmaker is working on a new television show which is inspired by her London hometown and different things that impacted her growing up.

      AceShowbiz – Leona Lewis has been working on a new TV show about her London hometown.
      In an interview for Rollacoaster magazine, the “Bleeding Love” hitmaker revealed she’s been busy on the project during lockdown, which “centres around where I grew up around Hackney and different things that impacted me growing up.”
      Admitting she’s “really excited” about her latest venture, Leona also revealed she’s “created a little music book for kids” and is actively seeking out acting roles, as she endeavours to broaden her career.
      “(It’s been) the year of diversifying, life is too short. Why are we limiting ourselves and putting ourselves in a box?” she reflected. “If I have learnt anything about myself this year, it’s like just go for what you’re passionate about.”

      It’s been almost 15 years since the “Happy” singer triumphed on U.K. TV singing contest “The X Factor” and she revealed she’s been back in the studio working on the follow-up to her 2014 album “I Am”.
      “It’s been fun and it’s been creative and I’ve gotten to be experimental because there’s no pressure,” reflected Leona. “I’m looking forward to finishing up all those ideas…”
      “I’ve been really experimenting by going back to my roots, using some soundscapes and using different parts of my voice… I’ve been working with a very different pallet at the moment, which has been fun.”
      Leona Lewis starred in 2014’s musical movie “Walking on Sunshine” and made her Broadway debut in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Cats”. She was then cast on TV Series “The Oath” which premiered in February 2019.

      'Friends' Reunion Special to Kick Off Production in March

      According Matthew Perry, the cast members are scheduled to begin filming the much-anticipated reunion project in March next year after several delays this year.

      AceShowbiz – The long-awaited FRIENDS reunion special will move into production early next year (21), according to show star Matthew Perry.
      The actor had initially been due to get back together on set with Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow to shoot the one-off TV event in front of a live audience in March (20), but it was repeatedly delayed due to the coronavirus shutdown.
      However, fans have now been given a new date to look forward to, with Perry sharing the latest news in a Twitter update on Thursday (12Nov20).
      “Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March,” he wrote. “Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!”

      It’s not clear if there will be an in-person audience, but once filming is officially wrapped, the Friends special will premiere on new U.S. streaming service HBO Max.
      The news emerges two months after Aniston, Cox, and Kudrow regrouped to appear in a mini-Friends reunion skit at the Primetime Emmy Awards in September.
      “Friends” originally aired for 10 seasons until 2004.
      Details of the project are still kept under wraps, but Jennifer Aniston previously said the numerous delays happening due to pandemic only made the reunion even more exciting. “It’s going to be super,” she assured fans. “You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been. So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed.”

      The TV show fronted by Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney has been forced to shut down the filming after members of the production team tested positive for coronavirus.

      AceShowbiz – Production on the latest season of “Chicago Fire” has ground to a halt following a number of positive Covid-19 tests.
      According to Entertainment Tonight, several members of the production team tested positive for the coronavirus as part of the show’s regular safety protocols, with filming on its ninth season subsequently being paused for 14 days.
      The publication reported production was halted out of an abundance of caution, due to the infected crew members interacting with cast and fellow crew members
      It is not believed the positive tests are among the principal cast.

      The news comes just weeks after the show’s spin-off, “Chicago Med”, halted filming due to a positive Covid-19 test. That show resumed filming in September, with production on “Chicago Fire” back up and running two weeks later on 6 October (20).
      “Chicago Fire” stars Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, and Christian Stolte and tells the story of firefighters in Chicago, both on a personal and professional level.
      Film and TV industries as well Broadway have been struggling to adapt to post-coronavirus world since lockdown was first imposed earlier this year. Many projects were either pushed back or called off as the industry was brought to a standstill due to the worldwide pandemic.
      Other Hollywood projects scrambling to adjust their productions included Robert Pattinson’s movie “The Batman”, Chris Pratt’s “Jurassic World: Dominion”, Idris Elba’s “The Harder They Fall”, and Tom Hanks’ Elvis Presley biopic as well as TV shows like “Riverdale”, “Batwoman”, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”, “Supergirl”, and “Stranger Things”.

      AceShowbiz – A new episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will see Scott Disick working on his mental health issue. In a new sneak peek for the upcoming Thursday, November 12 episode, Scott can be seen opening up to his baby mama Kourtney Kardashian about his plan to go to rehab to treat his depression.
      “I was just thinking, I don’t know, this whole COVID staying in, like no structure, it just like doesn’t work for me. It’s like making me feel like I just can’t handle staying home, not working. Recently, all I’ve been doing is like trying to find things to do, like doing this, doing that. And just like renting a house in Malibu for an escape, and then that turned into a total s**t show with paparazzi. It’s like, okay, this is no sanctuary at all,” he shares to Kourtney.
      “In my mind, I’m thinking I wasted all this time, I can’t have any privacy, I can’t have any time by myself. This is ruined. Like, I just can’t handle having nothing really to do and the truth was I started feeling more and more anxious, more and more depressed — like I was going to do something bad if I didn’t figure something out or take myself out of this position,” Scott, who was dating Sofia Richie at the time, admits in a confessional. “I think now is the time to work on it.”
      He then tells Kourtney that he never feels happy, adding, “Like, I just didn’t grieve my parents correctly, or give it enough time. And I just want to be the best person I can be for my family.” Scott, who lost his parents less than a year apart in 2013 and 2014, then asks the reality TV star if it’s alright for him to leave her with their three kids while he goes to the rehab for a month.

      Kourtney is “more than happy” to support Scott, though she admits that she’s “caught a little off guard because for the first time Scott isn’t being asked to go away, he isn’t having an issue with alcohol or drugs, and it’s like his idea. So I think it feels really different.”
      She went on saying, “And I want him to be the best that he can, you know, for my kids and for himself and for me. And so I’m more than happy to support him in any way that I can. This time, I think it’s really bringing up important work that we all have to do.”

      Scott eventually entered a rehab facility, though he checked out in May after a picture of him participating in an online session was leaked online. “Shockingly as a result of the HIPA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home,” Scott’s attorney Marty Singer said in a statement at the time. “We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”

      AceShowbiz – K-pop band BLACKPINK’s new reality show has been shelved after their handling of a baby panda in the video sparked backlash in China and South Korea.
      The “Kill This Love” hitmakers were shown holding Fu Bao, a baby panda born in July, in the promo for their new show, “24/365 with BLACKPINK” – sparking accusations they had endangered the animal’s health by not wearing the correct protective gloves.
      Representatives of their label, YG Entertainment, denied they had breached safety protocols in place to protect pandas from disease, but announced the show would not go live on their YouTube channel this week (end November 15) as planned.
      “When BLACKPINK met the baby panda, all members wore hygiene gloves, masks and protective clothing … hands and shoes were disinfected at every transition,” their statement, as reported by The Guardian, reads.

      “Nevertheless, in respect of international cooperation practices and recommendations from panda experts who say that nonprofessionals having close contact with the baby panda can cause misunderstandings, we decided to withhold the release of the related video.”
      The panda cub was introduced to the public last week after its arrival to parents brought to South Korea from China in 2016 as part of China’s “panda diplomacy” initiative, which sends the animals to zoos overseas.
      The footage of BLACKPINK handling Fu Bao sparked fury in China, with users of Weibo, China’s version of Twitter, denouncing their handling of the animal while wearing make-up in posts that received millions of views.
      “Blackpink” and “panda” hashtags also trended on South Korean Twitter after the trailer’s release, with some users urging officials to return the pandas, complaining they are not native animals and are too costly to look after.

      “I never wanted to do nudity because I felt like women sometimes are made to feel they have to,” AnnaLynne tells the “Watch With Us” podcast. “I was told when I was 14 years old by this model guru guy…, ‘You’ll never make it in Hollywood or in modelling if you’re not going to do nude!’ I was like, ‘Oh, really?       “The entire trajectory of my life has altered,” she adds. “That little 18-year-old arrogant, teeny-bopper who came into the world of Hollywood with all of her crazy energy and her rigid ideologies is a very different 33-year-old woman. Why I do what I do is what has really changed.”
      “I love acting. I love that I get to do what my nine-year-old self dreamed of doing when she was little. I got to make her dream come true. And that makes me so very happy. But for me, now, if I’m not making a statement in some capacity, I’m not interested.”

      AceShowbiz – The father and sister of late Latin superstar Selena Quintanilla are facing legal action from a disgruntled producer over their new Netflix drama series.
      “The Walking Dead” star Christian Serratos portrays the beloved musician on “Selena: The Series”, which chronicles her childhood and rise to fame, before her career was cut short by a deranged fan who shot and killed her on 31 March, 1995 – days before her 24th birthday.
      The upcoming show is executive produced by the tragic singer’s dad Abraham Quintanilla and sister Suzette, but producer Moctesuma Esparza claims he was granted the rights to the Tejano icon’s life story and music back in 1995 – and they breached that contract with the Netflix series.
      According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Esparza’s deal covered movie rights and any other remakes, after the success of “Selena”, the 1997 big screen biopic starring Jennifer Lopez, which he helped produce.

      Esparza alleges Abraham approached him in 1998 about the possibility of making a TV series or another film based on Selena’s life and career, but nothing came of the discussions.
      He also claims to have spoken to Suzette about a young Selena project, but again, nothing came to fruition – until he learned Abraham had signed over the rights to Netflix bosses in 2018.
      Now he is taking the Quintanillas and officials at the streaming service to court, and is demanding at least $1 million (£757,000) in damages.
      Representatives for the defendants have yet to comment on the news.
      “Selena: The Series” is set to premiere on 4 December.

      AceShowbiz – The competition between disguised celebrities on “The Masked Singer” season 4 continued in a new episode, which aired on Wednesday, November 11. The new outing saw three Popcorn, Snow Owls and Sun kicking off the Group A Finals as they fought for a spot in the Super Six.
      The contestants opened the night with a joint performance of Pink’s “Raise Your Glass” which also featured additional clues about each of them. Snow Owls had an “empty nest” as their clue. while Popcorn scored a “touchdown.” As for the Sun, she showed some “chalk rock.”
      Taking the stage to offer the first solo performance was the Sun, who belted out “Piece of My Heart” by Janis Joplin. The panelists, who were joined by guest panelist Niecy Nash for the evening, thought that the Sun might be Katharine McPhee, Jewel Kilcher or Demi Lovato.

      The next performer was the show’s first duo the Snow Owls. They hit the stage to offer an incredible performance of “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. The Snow Owls also shared in their final clue that they’re not brother and sister, but a couple who is in love. Among the names that were thrown by the panelists were Brad Paisley & Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Amy Grant & Vince Gill and Danny DeVito & Rhea Perlman.

      Concluding the night was Popcorn, who sang Jessie J’s “Domino”. It was then revealed that a friend of Popcorn appeared in a previous season of “The Masked Singer”. Taylor Dayne, Cyndi Lauper and Anika Noni Rose were among the guesses.

      Later, host Nick Cannon announced that the Sun was moving on to the Super Six, meaning that the Snow Owls and the Popcorn were up for a face off in the first Smackdown. With Popcorn joining the Sun in the Super Six, the Snow Owls were eliminated. As they unmasked themselves, it could be seen that they were actually country music stars Clint Black and Lisa Hartman!
