BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty received a comical swipe from colleague Carol Kirkwood after she exposed her “famous temper tantrum” about Christmas weather predictions.
Weather reporter Carol finished off her daily forecast on this morning’s show (November 12) by saying she will be off to see if it is going to be a white Christmas this year.
But Naga quickly hit out and said: “I thought you didn’t like making predictions.
“We were always told, do not ask Carol what temperature will be like at Christmas or whether it will snow.
“Then we get told you will have one of your famous temper tantrums if we do ask you. It’s true!”

Carol, standing in front of the weather chart in the studio, gave a cheeky smile before firing back: “You have got no shame, girl!”
Naga then corrected her and suggested if she meant “no discretion” instead.
“There is an email coming from you now isn’t there?” she joked. “Yeah? Okay.”
The pair let off a laugh before co-host Charlie Stayt jumped in to start the next section of the programme.
It comes after Naga defended Charlie when sports reporter Holly Hamilton suggested he could switch the BBC Breakfast sofa for the Olympics for Seniors, saying he “could sign up”.

Holly explained that the game included relays, archery, darts, and a lot more before jibing that it was solely for old aged pensioners.
She began by saying: “The competition is still there, isn’t it?
“Imagine us at that some day. We’d be pretty competitive, wouldn’t we.”
Naga then said: “No, it’s so wrong. And you know what, Holly? Shame on you!”
