Carol Vorderman was sifting through her photos this week, only come across a lovely snap buried deep in the archives.
Sharing the snapshot to Twitter, the 59-year-old – who will turn 60 on Christmas Eve – went on a trip down memory lane.
Seen with her rugby-star pal Ian Gough’s arm thrown around her shoulder, Carol looked stylish as ever in a pair of skintight leather trousers.
Her waist cinched in by a thick black best, the radio star paired the leather look with a bright red jumper, complete with fitted sleeves and a high neckline.
Emblazoned across her chest was the iconic Superman symbol, painted in the colours of the Welsh flag.

In her caption, she wrote: “Having a trawl through photos…..Feb this year….with the Goughy Man @VanGough4 who makes a very large daffodil…
“Might stand out in a garden border methinks.”
Meanwhile, in the thread below, Carol’s fans couldn’t get enough of her superhero-inspired jumper, as they took to their keyboards to weigh in.

Debuting her new chop over Instagram, Carol has cut her hair into a sweeping fringe, dyed in a glossy shade of pale brown.
The hairstyle reminded her fans of the look she’d worked in the early days of her career, fronting Countdown in the late 80s and early 90s.
Asking fans for their opinions on her barnet, she exclaimed: “I’ve gone a little darker and fringier for Christmas….what think you Yoda?”
