Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn has slimmed down in recent months after leaving the soap as Sinead Tinker.
The ex Coronation Street cast member slimmed down and dropped two dress sizes, which sees her now back at a size 8, after creeping up to a size 12.
But the blonde beauty, who won at last week’s National Television Awards, has revealed she made a small change to her lifestyle which massively helped her shed the weight.
She said: “Throughout the whole Sinead storyline, I put a bit of weight on and didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin, and I wanted a kickstart on my health, and to feel confident again.

“You’re knackered and you’re doing 12-hour days and it’s upsetting scenes. The canteen at Corrie have the best homemade cakes and I was eating for the town.”
Katie added to The Sun Online: “I was doing 15,000 steps a day, which really helped, and tracking them on an app.”
The award winner was also weight-training four or five times a week, though she credits the extra steps as a major help.
She explained that over the course of 12 weeks, she dropped over a stone and then lost a bit more later on, bringing the total to around a stone and a half.

Though, like most of us, Katie said she did put on a bit of weight over the festive period.
It seems her newly slimmed down figure was due for a bit of exposure, as the starlet wore a very revealing sheer gown to the NTAs last week in London.
Slipping into a floor-length frock, Katie posed on the red carpet, with her bronzed skin slightly obscured by a black pattern of vines over see-through fabric.

The sleeveless design also featured plenty of small feathers, adding some excitement to it.
She swept her long platinum locks into a high ponytail and went for full glam makeup, opting for fluttering false lashes and a nude pout.
Katie picked up the trophy for Serial Drama Performance for her role as Sinead in Corrie.
During her time on the soap, Katie’s won loyal fans for her portrayal of Sinead’s suffering from cervical cancer and eventual death.
