Gogglebox Lee in disbelief as Jenny starts snoring in middle of filming show

Gogglebox favourites Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have given fans a sneak-peek at what goes on behind-the-scenes in the lives of the Channel 4 show.

The dynamic duo from Hull have become the stars of the series since they made their debut back in 2014.

Lee, 51, logged into the pair’s joint Instagram page on Sunday evening to share a glimpse of their antics when the cameras stop rolling.

In the hilarious snap, Jenny, 64, could be seen taking a nap on the caravan floor as she took some time out of their hectic filming schedule.

Lee could be seen smiling proudly at the camera as he pointed at his best friend who was snoozing in the background.

The TV personality captioned the hysterical snap: “So let’s have a break Jenny says now she’s snoring her head off.”

Jenny moved into Lee’s caravan during lockdown to film Gogglebox and the pals continue to entertain viewers with their telly reviews.

When filming finishes Jenny moves back in with her husband Ray, while Lee lives with his boyfriend Steve in Cyprus.

Gogglebox fans have been enjoying more insight into Jenny and Lee’s funny friendship in the latest series which kicked off in September.

The pair recently proved how far their friendship goes back with an incredible throwback photo.

They became friends in 1994 when Jenny was the landlady of a pub called The Crown Inn in East Riding, and Lee was a regular.

Jenny was first approached by two Gogglebox researchers at Beverley Races Ladies Day but Lee wasn’t sold on the idea at first.

He previously told The Hull Daily Mail: “To be honest and I didn’t want to do it. I’d say it took her about an hour and a half to talk me into it – about as long as it took me to get me out of bed.”

Gogglebox continues on Channel 4 on Friday at 9pm
