Holly Willoughby was missing from This Morning on Wednesday as Phillip Schofield was joined by Alison Hammond.
The 39-year-old television star was mysteriously absent from the episode, and viewers wondered where the television bombshell was.
At the end of Lorraine, the Scottish host usually chats to the This Morning hosts about what they have coming up, but today was very different.
Instead of talking to Holly, she instead spoke to Alison and Phillip, who didn’t address Holly’s absence as they chatted about their festive plans for the Wednesday show.
Fans rushed to social media to ask where Holly was, as she and Phillip normally present from a Monday to a Thursday, and ate replaced by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on a Friday.

One viewer wrote: “Oh no where’s Holly?”
While another added: “This Morning Where’s Holly”.
When This Morning started at 10am, Alison told viewers that Holly was having a “well deserved day off”.
“What a shame that Holly Willoughby is going to miss it, she loves Christmas! Hope she’s ok”, tweeted a third viewer who was referring to the huge Christmas tree on today’s show.

This Morning fans were thrilled to see Alison on their television screens today, as one wrote: “Oh it’s Alison! That’s a nice surprise.”
While another wrote: “I love this pairing Philip and Alison”.
“Alison Hammond and Phillip Schofield, absolutely iconic”, gushed another.
Alison presenting the show today comes amid reports she’s replacing Ruth Langsford on Fridays on This Morning.

It’s been claimed Ruth and Eamonn have been axed from their Friday slot, and are being replaced by Alison and Dermot O’Leary.
ITV reportedly shut down rumours that they had sacked Ruth and Eamonn from the show.
A spokesperson for This Morning told Metro.co.uk: “We have a stellar presenting line up on This Morning in Holly and Phillip and Eamonn and Ruth.
“Any additions to this line up will be announced in due course.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
