“I know, I know… she’s punching.”
Piers said that he knew Celia, who is the daughter of former Conservative MP George Walden, was “bride material” after she laughed at him during a speech mishap.
He told the Mail Online: “I was doing a speech on front of 1,000 people – magazine editors – in some fancy hotel in Mayfair, and I absolutely died on my backside to the extent that they were openly jeering me, and the only person that was laughing was Celia, who I’d never met, and I went, ‘Who’s that?'”

He added: “She said, ‘That just bombed’ and I said, ‘I thought that was hilarious’, but she was laughing really at my discomfort. So I realised then that she would be perfect bride material!”
Piers and Celia tied the knot in 2010 at a stunning small church ceremony Oxfordshire.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Elise, into the world in November of 2011.
Celia has said Elise has her dad wrapped around her little finger and loves to take the mick out of him.
