I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left mocking ITV bosses decision to splash out on a wolf to appear in Victoria’s trial.
Victoria was tasked with rummaging through the castle ruins to find the yellow stars to win meals for camp.
Each room had a grim twist, with the surprise wolf meant to be one of them.
But rather than barking and growling at Victoria as she went hunting for stars, it simply stood there looking cute.
The scene left viewers accusing ITV of faking the wolf despite Ant McPartlin insisting it was the real deal.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “That’s a small ‘wolf’ #ImACeleb,” before adding a questioning face.
Another added: “An actual wolf…that’s a dog #ImACeleb.”
A third continued: “That was a husky not a wolf? #ImACeleb”
A fourth mocked: “Bl**dy hell Vic’s making this look hard!
“And I would be way more scared of the pigeons than the friendly looking wolf, on a lead, with a handler! #ImaCeleb.”
Meanwhile, a fifth chimed in: “Real Wolf????? More of a cute dog on a lead. #ImACeleb.”
Making light of the situation, Ant later added in the live segment: “I don’t know how though as she coped of the terrifying wolf.
“At one point I thought she was at danger of being sniffed to death.”

Vicky Pattison, Carol Vorderman and Joe Swash had all been lined up to take part in bagging £50,000 each.
A telly insider told The Sun: “The celebs weren’t given much information, but the £50,000 price tag was obviously very attractive at a time when there isn’t much TV work due to Covid.
“They were treated like kings and queens in luxury accommodation, with their every need looked after.”
