I'm A Celeb host Ant McPartlin surprises Welsh local with heartwarming selfie

With the 20th of series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launching this weekend, Ant McPartlin has been taking time to soak in the sights of North Wales in between filming commitments.

The presenter, 44, was spotted strolling around the nearby town of Conwy on Friday, pausing to snap a selfie with a local business owner.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was not possible for the I’m A Celeb crew to travel Down Under this year, meaning ITV bosses looked closer to home for an alternative filming location.

Gwrych Castle near the town of Abergele has been chosen to host the series, with 10 lucky contestants fighting to be crowned king or queen of the castle in three weeks’ time.
