Linda Nolan has shared her heartache as she was told tumours had appeared in her liver.
The 61-year-old has been diagnosed with incurable breast cancer and said she sobbed her heart out when she was told the devastating news that the disease had spread.
Linda told The Mirror: “I knew when I went into the room for my appointment because I could tell from the consultant’s demeanour.
“He turned to me and said the CT scan had shown something on my liver again. I asked if it was cancer and he said yes.
“It’s scary, I’m not going to lie. I try to be upbeat and positive but I had a really bad day when I got back.”

Linda added that she told her beloved sisters she was fine, but she cried when she got into her house.
She explained she needed to cry as she’s “scared to death of dying”.
Despite the tragic news, Linda has insisted she’s aiming to be here for as many Christmases as possible.
The singer, who lost her husband Brian back in 2007, also told the publication that she’s dating again.

She said she’s “been talking to somebody on a dating app”, who she “met in the park”.
Linda added that she might see him again, but wouldn’t want to get involved with anybody right now as she doesn’t know how long she’s going to be here.
She said she’s had the love of her life already, but “it would be nice to have somebody to spend time with”.
Linda is part of a close family, made up of sisters Bernie, Anne, Denise, Maureen and Coleen, and brothers Tommy and Brian.
She was in The Nolans with her sisters, and the band sold 30 million records worldwide.
They’ve recently filmed a documentary series, At Home with the Nolans, which looks into whether cancer gene in their family.
The programme also sees them look for their half-sister who they’ve never met.
At Home with the Nolans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Quest Red
