Leilani Dowding shot to fame as one of Daily Star’s Page 3 girls, instantly becoming a household name and fan favourite
After catapulting to stardom, the Dorset-born star relocated her life to Hollywood, California in 2003 – settling down amongst Tinseltown’s biggest names.
After a brief stint back in the UK, the former Economics student relocated back to California permanently in 2006, gaining American citizenship.
After 17 years in the blazing West Coast sunrise, Leilani and her fiancé rockstar Billy Duffy relocated back to England, with the brunette beauty later appearing on ITVBe’s Real Housewives of Cheshire.
Despite dreaming of appearing on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Leilani exclusively revealed to Daily Star Online that she has decided to part ways with her Hollywood lifestyle, selling one of her luxury homes.

“I literally got my citizenship and I think actually I think I think I want to be in England.
“My sister just had a baby and I want to see her grew up,” she told us.
While living in Los Angeles, Leilani put her showbiz career on the backbench and became a licensed real estate agent, which later became her main love.

She went on to say: “I really miss the real estate side of things and that was like that is my favourite job, I miss it way more than doing TV and any of that like to me, doing the housewives show was so stressful, but I like being a real estate agent.
“I mean, that is usually people would say that was a really stressful job, but I actually really enjoy it.”
During her time in the states, she even appeared on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing – following high-end realtors in the Hollywood area.
The couple purchased their dream home just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Hollywood Hills and the main attractions of Melrose Avenue – but despite this, renovated the property into one of the quietest homes in the neighbourhood.

“I think it’s great because it’s in the hills and it’s quiet, you don’t have, like, all the craziness that goes on down it kind of in the flat areas.”
While pictures show Billy and Leilani’s office – displaying his commemorative record sales plaques, the home also boasts a private gym and stunning views of the nearby Hollywood Hills.
Leilani joined Real Housewives of Cheshire in season ten but said that living in the affluent Golden Triangle was much more dramatic than her Hollywood days.
“I think LA seemed quiet, you think LA is crazy but you know, after the housewives, I think people might be a little bit more sane in LA,” she joked.
While she may not be part of the Cheshire set anymore, Leilani isn’t giving up on becoming a housewife again.

After being asked whether she would join the Beverly Hills cast, she exclaimed: “Oh, absolutely – I don’t watch The Housewives of Cheshire anymore, but I still watch The Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Following the news that Paris Hilton’s mum, Kathy had joined the crew, Leilani shared her thoughts: “I actually never thought she would have because obviously, she’s not made that many appearances on it has she.
“I thought Kathy Hilton always kind of shied away from it [fame]. So that really surprised me but I think, you know, I think it’s a great addition.”
Leilani and Billy are selling their Mid-Century West Hollywood home for a swift £2.9 million.
