Slowthai’s fans fear his career is over after he decided to lash out on stage at the 2020 NME Awards.
The British rapper, whose real name is Tyron Frampton, had just been awarded the coveted Hero of the Year at the Brixton based show.
After appeared to try it on with host Katherine Ryan, Slowthai was heckled by the crowd at the base of the stage.
Seeing red, the rising star said: “Thank you for ruining my speech, thank you very much. Wasteman.”
He promptly threw his drink into the crowd before jumping down to launch himself at the fan.

The fracas ended with him being physically restrained by bouncers, while the man in the crowd was removed.
Taking to Twitter as videos of the incident flooded social media, one fan wrote: “Well that’s Slowthai acting the n**. Career is over.”
Another added: “Slowthai career over. RIP.”

“I’ve never heard of Slowthai till now but I have a feeling his career is over,” a third chimed in.
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Yo I love/loved Slowthai and his music man.
“I’ve listened to his s*** almost exclusivity last six months or so but that video was horrible to watch.
“Can’t abide that sort of s***, absolute idiot.”

However, others don’t think it will harm the star at all.
“If you think SlowThai’s career is gonna tank over this shit you’re clapped,” one fan tweeted.
Another said: “Don’t get me wrong, Slowthai has just massively f***** up.
“However, anyone saying his career is finished is massively over exaggerating.”
