Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left divided on Sunday night after Take That legend Gary Barlow appeared on the results show to perform his new single Elita.
Dressed in a bright red suit, Gary, 49, stood on a podium in the middle of the BBC dance floor as he belted out the track, which had Spanish influences.
While the official version features Michael Bublé, Gary opted to sing the track solo, but was joined by professional dancers working their magic around him.
Despite many viewers gushing over the northern star’s good looks, others were left baffled by his decision to branch out into a different music genre.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Why is Gary Barlow pretending he’s Spanish?”
Another added: “Really not vibing Gary Barlow’s Ricky Martin tribute on Strictly.”
A third continued: “Honestly.. It’s like a album track from Ricky Martin or Barry Manilow 20-yrs- ago #GaryOnStrictly.”
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Oh Gary Barlow what is this? Jumping on the Spanish thing to be relevant is a bit cringe.”
However, while not everyone was feeling the new song, others were still swooning over the Take That star.
One fan tweeted the singer: “You should do Strictly. You’ve never looked so fit.”
Another praised: “You look so sexy.”
Ogling at their TV, a third playfully gushed: “Wow Gary Barlow looking and sounding hot on Strictly, giving this menopausal woman even more hot flushes!”
Daily Star Online previously revealed how Gary has been writing with his former bandmate Robbie Williams during lockdown.

The top-secret writing sessions were denied by Gary’s camp when contacted by Daily Star Online, only for Rob to let the cat out of the bag.
The Party Like A Russian singer branded the new tracks as “damn fine top pop songs”.
Robbie, 46, teased: “Me and Gary have been writing songs together… and damn fine songs they are too.
“Top pop they are from pop masters.
“Gary has got his synths out and I have got my 90s and 80s electronic melodies and lyrics out.”
The duo previously teamed up in 2010 after burying their decade-long hatchet on joint single Shame.
