Strictly Come Dancing fans joked they were left “traumatised” by Max George’s routine on the show tonight.
The Wanted star was seen performing a Couples Choice dance to The Simpsons theme tune alongside professional partner Diane Buswell.
However, not everyone enjoyed it – with viewers branding it “odd” and “terrifying”.
One wrote on Twitter: “Thought it was Halloween week, I was terrified!”
While another added: “Living through a pandemic is one thing, but this is taking the absolute p**s.”
A third chimed in: “Not for me that… odd.”
While a fourth said: “If I want to be traumatised I’ll watch the news.”

One viewer even bizarrely moaned that the dance was too “sexy”.
They wrote online: “This was far too sexy for a family show. Disgusting.”
Some seemed to like it though, as another added: “I’ve never fancied Homer Simpson before but I guess there a first time for everything. I’m laughing so hard that was brilliant – Max looks and did amazing.”

Before performing the dance, Max, 32, said he wanted to “put a smile on people’s faces.”
He also said that he hoped his nan would enjoy the routine.
Despite some viewers feeling unsettled by the routine, the judges seemed to like it.
Shirley Ballas said she “loved” the routine telling Max: “You brought it to life.”
While Motsi Mabusi added: “This is what I’m talking about. You gave me energy, it was a very difficult routine.”
Meanwhile Craig Revel Horwood said people were either going to “love it or hate it” – as he said he loved it.
