Strictly Come Dancing star Katya Jones has revealed she’s been inundated with messages from women following her same-sex pairing with Nicola Adams on the BBC show.
The professional dancer, 31, made history during the recent series of the competition after she was partnered with the 38-year-old Olympic boxer.
Nicola and Katya’s journey on the show came to a dramatic end as the pair were forced to bow out of the competition early when Katya tested positive for coronavirus.
Speaking to The Sun, Katya explained: “I have been getting quite a few messages from girls, which is nice – but no-one famous.
“Why don’t they [famous women] slide into my DM’s?! I am very much single!”

A two week isolation spell meant they would be forced to miss two live shows, and competition rules wouldn’t allow the pair consecutive byes.
However, Nicola and Katya will be returning to the Strictly dance floor for a special one-off performance during next week’s next grand final – and the pair promised that it will be their raunchiest routine ever.
Nicola has admitted that she’s struggled to watch Strictly after getting the boot from the show.
Appearing on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, the Olympian said: “It was a bit weird not being part of the show, but everyone did amazingly. Anton did great as well [on the judging panel].”

Katya admitted she was “heartbroken” to have to withdraw from the series last month.
In a statement she shared on Twitter Katya said: “I can’t even describe my feelings.
“But we’re so happy that we were able to do this, hopefully, it’s the start of something bigger and again, just thank you so much to everybody who has supported us on the competition and now.
“I’ve seen all your messages, I might not have answered to everybody, but I’m going through them and I’ve seen them all.”
Five couples remaining in the competition but only four will make it through to the finale on December 19.
Fans will have to wait and see which pair lift the Glitterball trophy next weekend.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday night at 7pm
