The Chase star Jenny Ryan has a strict costume on the ITV quiz show, usually dressing in a black tailored dress with her flame-red beehive and trademark specs.
However, in honour of Tuesday’s The Chase Celebrity Special, Jenny pulled out all the stops, leaving viewers smitten with her fancy dress costume on the day.
The 38-year-old quizzer, who hails from Bolton, dressed up as pop superstar Madonna, working the singer’s iconic outfit from her 1990 Blond Ambition Tour.
Featuring a pink cone bustier, the outfit – which was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier – has gone down in fashion history.
Jenny looked sensational in her own take on the legendary ensemble, working a peach silk bustier with a T-shirt underneath.

Her hair was encased in a blonde wig, and she added a retro pair of glasses by way of accessories.
Meanwhile, watching the show from home, viewers were smitten by the look, as they took to Twitter to praise Jenny’s transformation.
“Watching #TheChase celebrity Christmas special and @jenlion is dressed as Madonna. Jenny you look absolutely gorgeous if you don’t me me saying x,” said one.

“Wow! @jenlion as Madonna. Is it hot in here?” added a second.
And a third wrote: “Jenny looks nice blonde.”
Presenter Bradley Walsh was similarly impressed by the wardrobe transformation, as he branded Jenny’s costume as “sensational”.
However, the witty ITV host couldn’t help but take a cheeky swipe, pretending to mistake Jenny for the late footballer Diego Maradona.

In the episode, which was filmed in December 2019, he joked: “The Chaser has come as England’s greatest foe, Maradona!”
Scoffing, Jenny corrected him, saying: “Madonna!”
The brainiac then quipped at her costume, gesturing to her bust and saying: “I’ve got to make it quick – The Beast wants his ice cream cones back.”
The Chase airs on weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
