Scissor Sisters star Jake Shears was eliminated from The Masked Singer over the weekend, as it was revealed he was the man behind the unicorn mask.
And the singing supreme appeared on Lorraine Kelly today to talk about his journey in the unique talent competition.
Touching on what it was like keeping his identity concealed on the programme, Jake said: “It was borderline impossible. I mean you’re breathing heavy in that thing and it was really tough.”
He also said despite keeping it a secret from his mum, she twigged it was him behind the mask very early on.

Jake revealed: “My name was being batted about with this show. My mum calls me and says nice unicorn and I had to be like I have no idea what you’re talking about. I don’t know who your mum might be.”
The 41-year-old then shared his thoughts on who he thinks some of the other masked celebrities may be.
Jake threw a major curve ball when he gave his predictions about the Hedgehog.

He spilled: “I think Tony Hadley might be the Hedgehog
“Because I was riding home in a car one night and I was like that’s Tony Hadley.”
Many people have predicted that Hegehog is in fact Jason Manford due to the fact that he’s a comedian and is hero is Billy Connolly. He sang a song by Oasis too, which hinted that he is from Manchester.

Jake also shared a rogue prediction about Queen Bee, going against previous guesses of Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall and Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts.
Jake divulged: “Queen Bee could maybe be Leona Lewis. I think Queen Bee is fantastic. She’s going to win.”
