This Morning viewers were smitten by Celia Walden during her appearance on Thursday’s edition of the show, as she described her Christmas plans with husband Piers Morgan.
Joining hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, and fellow guest Lora Evans, Celia explained she planned to keep her number of guests down over the Christmas break.
Instead of inviting her family over for a blow-out meal, she is limiting the dinner to three people – herself, hubby Piers, and their daughter Elise.
However, watching from home, viewers cruelly suggested Piers was “punching,” as his journalist wife spoke about their festive plans.

A second wondered: “How did Piers get Celia #ThisMorning”
“@thismorning I think Celia is making a huge sacrifice imagine having to spend Christmas locked in with piers Morgan!! Eeek,” added a third.
The pair tied the knot in June 2010, getting hitched at an intimate ceremony in the Oxfordshire village of Swinbrook.

Together, they share one daughter – Elise Morgan, nine – while Piers also has three sons from his previous marriage.
While it will be a struggle to spend Christmas without their extended family, Celia admitted she didn’t want to take any risks during the pandemic.
She said: “We felt it was just cleaner to do it all very cleanly, just us three.”

Closing the interview, Phil and Holly made cheeky remarks about her husband’s outspoken personality, suggesting she would be “trapped with Piers all that time”.
Referring to Santa’s naughty list, Holly quipped: “You must have been a bad girl!”
Next up, Phil asked: “What did you do to deserve that?”
Creased in laughter, Celia quipped back: “I married him!”
