AceShowbiz – Super Bowl LIV has finally started. Following her emotional comeback performance at the Grammy Awards, Demi Lovato helped kick off the annual big game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday, February 3 by delivering a rousing rendition of the National Anthem.
Looking entirely confident as she took the field before the San Fransisco 49ers versus Kansas City Chiefs’ game, the former Disney darling brought her amazing vocals and completely nailed “Star Spangled Banner” in a chic white pantsuit. By the end of her performance, the audience could be heard cheering loudly for her.

Not only the audience, but viewers at home also couldn’t help but be mesmerized by Demi’s stunning performance. Someone even dubbed her rendition the best one since Whitney Houston‘s at the 1991 Super Bowl. “I literally have goosebumps. That was SO BEAUTIFUL, Demi Lovato,” one person highly praised the singer, while another jokingly said, “Can’t believe they decided to play football at a Demi Lovato concert. So disrespectful.”
“Demi Lovato’s vocals were hitting harder than the hot spoon during the National Anthem,” one other commented. Even Niall Horan praised his fellow singer by saying, “Yessss Demi !!! Nailed it. Congratukations…” Meanwhile, even though she didn’t express her admiration on social media, Blue Ivy was spotted among the audience recording Demi’s performance. As for her superstar mom, Beyonce Knowles, she was seen singing along.
It was understandable why Demi decided to do her very best for the National Anthem performance. After all, it was something that she had been dreaming since a long time ago. Prior to her performance, she took to Instagram to share a tweet that she wrote ten years ago. It read, “One day, I’m gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl. Onnee dayyy…” Demi captioned the post, “Stealing this from @scooterbraun. Dreams really do come true y’all.”
