Joe Swash opened up on tonight’s new series of Celebrity Gogglebox.

The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! favourite spoke about a harrowing time in his life.

Joe and girlfriend Stacey Solomon were watching 999: What’s Your Emergency? when Joe spoke about his dad’s death.

The celebrity cast were moved to tears as a boy tried to resuscitate his dad, who was thought to have had a heart attack.

Speaking about his own experience, Joe said: “I was only 11 when my dad passed away from a heart attack.”

A supportive Stacey, 30, lovingly patted Joe to comfort him.

Stacey and fellow celebrity and Loose Women panelist Ruth Langsford burst into tears of joy when the boy revealed his dad had come round and was now conscious.

Earlier in the programme Joe had made a cheeky jibe about Robbie Williams.

It came after the celebrities watched a Take That live concert, where the stars all performed from their own homes.

To which he replied: “I don’t know he was just the fat one in Take That.”

Stacey then told him off for his brutal jibe.
