Hollywood hunk Colin Farrell left Batman 2021 fans picking their jaws up from the floor as the new trailer for the movie was released.
The 44-year-old actor who is better known for his dazzling good looks, chiselled features and his ordinarily-gym-honed physique, looked totally unrecognisable.
In the recent snippet, fans had to double-take to ensure that they’d spotted the award-winning actor correctly as he looked that different.
Stepping into character, he appeared every bit like the crime lord Oswald “The Penguin” Cobblepot, who had originally obtained his nickname for his bird-like features.

Wearing all of the makeup as well as being plastered in prosthetic coverings, he seemed nothing like the Voyagers hunk, he’d played previously.
It was also evident to see that the Irish-born star had certainly upped his calorie intake in a bid to get into character.
The realistic transformation, alongside his noticeable weight gain, left fans completely flabbergasted at his dramatic change of appearance.
After viewing the new snippet, many gobsmacked fans took to Twitter to air their shock.
One utterly stunned fan asked: “Is Twitter messing with me or is this really Colin Farrell as Penguin in the Batman trailer? If so this is one of the best transformation makeups I’ve ever seen.”

Another exclaimed: “The craziest thing about The Batman trailer is that this is Colin Farrell.”
Although some fans seemed to be more devastated that they will not be drooling over the heartthrob actor while in character.
“Tbh a little disappointed we are not getting Colin Farrell as hot Penguin,” penned one person.
Colin, joins a whole cast of celebrities in the action packed film, including Twilight star Robert Pattinson as Batman and Andy Serkis as he trusty butler, Alfred.
Twitter was ablaze with commentary and excitement for the film that will formally hit the big screens at some point in 2021.
The trailer that was unleashed today, only heightened anticipation for the long awaited movie that has been directed by Matt Reeves.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic forcing production to come to a halt, the movie is only a quarter of the way to being complete.
But fans can be assured that it’s all systems go again, with filming resuming next month.
