Coronation Street abuser Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is finally running out of time after his ex Elaine mysteriously vanished, with many believing he has killed her.
His friends and family have started to grow suspicious of his lies, after he told Faye that he had only been rowing with a stranger when she asked him about Elaine.
Geoff was then grilled by a detective about seeing Elaine, and he told her that his ex-wife was dead, saying she had died in Spain in around 1970 from cancer.
He said he was told this as they had separated, possibly trying to find a plan B if it did come out Elaine was really his ex.

But as Faye and Sally wondered why Geoff would lie about Elaine and her identity, it looks like Geoff will be pushing to his breaking point.
Alya and Sally, who are seriously concerned that Elaine is dead, decide to take action to try and get Geoff out of the picture, as Alya told him on Friday to do anything to make sure he stays away from her grandmother.
But Sally convinces her she should buy Geoff out, offering her wedding money for her and Tim given to them by him, as the two plot against Geoff for what he did to Elaine and Yasmeen.

Geoff is livid when he finds out, leading to confrontations between both him and Sally and Alya as he plots what to do next about them and Elaine.
But could his scheming send him the same way as Yasmeen as the stress gets too much for him, leading to a shocking heart attack?
According to Buzz Bingo, Coronation Street has had a whopping 35 people die from heart attacks since the soap first started, making it the worst soap for having a fatal heart condition.

In second place comes Emmerdale, with 17 people going the same way over the years, some happening on-screen and others off air.
In comparison, EastEnders has had 13 people die from heart attacks, making it the safest place for people with a bad heart.
Could Corrie be about to incapacitate or even kill the evil abuser off?
Corrie continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
