Dancing On Ice have confirmed actor and comedian Rufus Hound as the final contestant for the upcoming series.
The 41-year-old funnyman is known as a regular panelist on Celebrity Juice, and has appeared on other major fixtures of the comedy circuit such as BBC Radio 4’s Just A Minute and Nevermind the Buzzcocks.
Breaking the news over Twitter, the show’s official account wrote: “We’ve H̶o̶u̶n̶d̶ found our next skating star… Welcome to the class of 2021.”
Thrilled to lace up his skates for the ITV series, Rufus joked: “For the last 10 years, I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t asked to see me dance on ice.
“Finally, the nation has its dreams come true!”

Rufus’ addition to the slew of celebrities completes the 2021 line-up, as he joins 11 other famous faces in the ice rink.
Rebekah Vardy, who is married to footballer Jamie Vardy and famously got caught up in the WAgatha Christie scandal last year, has signed up to compete.
Next up, Neighbours actor and 80s heartthrob Jason Donovan has been recruited for the series, admitting he “can’t wait” to launch into the training.
Radio presenter Myleene Klass, who recently got engaged to her longterm love Simon Motson, is the third famous face to take part.

Next up, Denise Van Outen – who dazzled viewers with her vocals on last year’s Masked Singer – is ditching the mic for the skating rink.
Coronation Street actress Faye Brookes is another star who has confirmed she will take part, having left the cobbles for a career change last year.
Emmerdale star Joe Warren Plant, who plays teen troublemaker Jacob Gallagher in the dales, is also confirmed to take part.

Next up, Billie Faiers has been recruited, having proven her reality TV chops on TOWIE and The Mummy Diaries.
Britain’s Got Talent star Sonny Jay is another name to top the list, with thousands of fans earned through his DJ stint on the Capital FM Breakfast Show.
Rapper Lady Leshurr, Olympian Graham Bell and athlete Colin Jackson have also been confirmed for the series, bringing the number of contestants to 12.
Hitting our TV screens next January, this could be the most star-studded season of Dancing On Ice to date.
