Dancing on Ice returned to our screens tonight for the final episode of the current series.
Diversity star Perri Kiely and partner Vanessa Bauer, TV presenter Joe Swash and parter Alex Murphy and Paralympian Libby Clegg MBE and pro skater Mark Hanretty all took to the ice this evening in a bid to be crowned Dancing On Ice champions 2020.
Head judge Jayne Torvill was overcome with emotion as Libby and Mark completed their first dance of the evening.
Sporting hero Libby gave a nod to her Paralympian roots by dancing an Olympic-inspired routine as part of the grand finale.
Libby was awarded full marks for her performance with Mark, which left Jayne speechless.
Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby went straight to ice-skating legend Jayne to find out her opinion on Libby’s performance, but Jayne’s dance partner and fellow judge Christopher Dean was forced to step in because the star was lost for words.
Speaking to Holly and Phillip after her first routine, Libby said: “I feel so privileged.
“I’ve been holding this in all week but I am so honoured to have worked with Jayne and Chris.”
Holly, 38, told the contestant: “It’s been a honour and a privilege to watch you skate every week.

Phillip, 57, added: “Jayne was really quite emotional there, and still this.”
The camera panned to an emotional Jayne, but the judge couldn’t speak.
Phil added: “She’s done, she’s done.”
The presenter went quickly to chat to Chris, who congratulated Libby on getting the final.

Chris said: “Libby, I’m so happy we’ve got a woman here on International Women’s Day.
“We’ve shown everything at you over the weeks and I’m so proud of you.”
Libby and Mark came third during tonight’s grand final with Perri and Vanessa finishing in second place and Joe and Alex crowned champions.
