EastEnders actor Danny Dyer fans are overjoyed with the news that he is hosting a history lesson for the BBC as part of the coronavirus homeschooling plans.
The BBC have rescued parents by offering 20-minute lessons as part of the new Bitesize Daily education plans, which kick off today.
Fans of Danny, 42, are over the moon that he has been listed as a historical character for the upcoming weeks.
The 42-year-old actor is believed to be teaching key stage one kids about Henry VIII – informing them of key facts.
Shortly after the news was revealed, fans instantly took to social media and they couldn’t contain their excitement.

One fan tweeted: “I know this is aimed at kids but I am absolutely tuning in to Danny Dyer’s history lesson, that’s going to be incredible.”
While a second went on to say: “Danny Dyer going into teaching, and teaching history especially, makes me really happy to be studying history.”
“Danny Dyer teaching King Henry VIII History!!! Tbh I’m here for it!” added a third.

A fourth penned: “Danny Dyer actually did one of the best history documentaries I have ever seen on @BBC so stuff all the rampant snobbery. If he was good enough for Pinter… He’s a blessing to history teaching.”
Danny isn’t the only celebrity taking part in the new educational line up.
Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ed Balls is set to take on the role of maths teacher while Sir David Attenborough will be giving key lessons on nature.

Liam Payne will be joining Mabel to cover history lessons.
BBC Children’s & Education director Alice Webb said: “We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis, and we meant it.
“It’s vital that every child is able to continue learning – and the lessons we’re putting on will make sure they have fun at the same time.”
She added: “Parents can be assured that what is provided for them matches what their child would have been learning that day should they have been in school.”
