Eamonn Holmes took a swipe at This Morning resident Dr Chris Steele on today’s episode as he revealed he’d lost his tooth.
The 60-year-old ITV host was chatting to the doctor alongside his wife and co-star Ruth Langsford about seeing the dentist amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Chris revealed: “I actually have lost the tooth. The dentist won’t see me as it isn’t an emergency.”
Eamonn cheekily replied: “Well it depends if ugliness is an emergency.”
Later on Eamonn said he was also having teeth issues during lockdown, and told Dr Chris: “Great sympathy with your teeth situation” as he explained his teething troubles too.

Dr Chris also spoke about the coronavirus crisis and whether it’s necessary to wear gloves when leaving the house.
He revealed: “I can’t understand why people are wearing gloves.
“The wearing of gloves is not advised. Just washing your hands… so they’re free from contamination.”

He did however say that wearing gloves “makes you more aware of not touching your face”.
However, he also insisted: “You’re wearing the gloves and the gloves are contaminated.”
