Dean Gaffney was quietly written out of BBC’sEastEnders following his behaviour off-set including a sexting scandal.
The former EastEnders actor, 42, has now admitted he has found things difficult since he was sacked.
Dean has now opened up about his dating history and his “harsh” sacking from the soap.
The Sun reports that the star has had multiple kiss-and-tells but respected the decision made buy execs after he was ordered to step down from the show.
Dean told the publication: “I took on board what they said and I 100% respect their decision. I did think it was harsh, but then I understand they had to act on it.
“I think EastEnders just thought enough is enough – and I don’t blame them.
“They said to me, ‘You are either really bad at picking women or you need to sort it out. You need to go off and find out why you are doing these things’.”

He went on to say: “They were saying they loved me and wanted me to come back and they wished it wasn’t happening – but it is happening and they need to deal with it.”
Dean played Robbie Jackson on the soap for 26 years and isn’t shy about his past and believes it contributed to his split from former girlfriend, 25-year-old model Rebekah Rose-Ward.
The star went on to say: “I have a self-destruct button and people can’t understand why I press it. I have no idea why I pressed it.”

It’s claimed that Dean once sent a friend request to a woman half his age before demanding to see “her boobs and bum”.
Dean is also believed to have romped with over 1000 women.
After taking a period of reflection following his exit, Dean has now signed up to reality show Celebs Go Dating in the hopes of finding true love.

He will join stars such as This Morning’s Alison Hammond, Love Island babe Amy Hart and Made In Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley.
However, he’s not the only EastEnders star who’s come under fire.
Jessie Wallace who plays Kat Slater is believed to be on her last warning after getting boozed up while at work filming the 35th-anniversary episodes.
