EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has sent out a warning to her fans to help them avoid a phone scam.
The 48-year-old, who plays Kat Slater in the popular BBC One soap set in Albert Square, took to her official Instagram account to share the warning with her 64,600 followers.
Sharing a snap of a young Frankie Howerd holding his two fingers up, she used the caption to write out her message.
Jessie wrote: “If you receive a call/message from this number 01205 616172 ignore it!
“It’s a scam! Don’t give them any information!”

Her fans rushed to the comment section to thank the actress for the heads up.
One commented: “Cheers for the heads up,” followed by the thumbs-up emoji.
A second said: “Cheers. I’ll share this.”
Other fans claimed the same number has called them before.

“Have had this number phone a few times it comes up as a scam on my phone so blocked and deleted,” said one.
Another claimed: “Same number rang me Jess!”
It comes after Jessie shared a snap updating her fans on how lockdown life looks for her after the BBC suspended filming of the soap amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Posing up a storm in what appeared to be her back garden, the stunner beamed from ear-to-ear as she donned a graphic T-shirt.
Paired with a leopard print headband, red sunglasses and black crochet shorts, Jessie looked sensational.
In typical Kat Slater fashion, she paired the leopard print with a bright red lip.
