The soap made headlines recently after Monday night’s episode was cut short amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Fans were raging when they tuned in on BBC One last night to discover the show was running shorter than it’s usual 30 minutes.
The soap set in Albert Square started at 8.40pm instead of its usual 8pm Monday time slot.
One tweeted: “First corona made EastEnders only on twice a week; then tonight’s is only 20 minutes.”
While another moaned: “Why is it on at this unusual time?”
“This is on late tonight” added a third.
